These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and services provided by Rethink Clinical Hypnotherapy ("we," "us," "our"). By using our website or booking a session, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. Nature of Services
Rethink Clinical Hypnotherapy provides clinical hypnotherapy and strategic psychotherapy sessions to support behavioural and emotional change. Sessions are delivered Australia-wide via secure online telehealth, with limited in-person availability offered in Victoria based on current demand. These services are not medical and do not involve diagnosis, treatment or prescription for any medical or psychiatric condition.
2. Booking and Payment
All sessions must be booked in advance through our online contact form or by direct communication.
To confirm your appointment, a $50 attendance deposit is required. This deposit will be applied towards your session fee.
Payment in full is required on completion of each session. Your payment details remain confidential and secure. If you require discretion regarding how your payment appears on your statement, please let us know in advance. We will offer alternative arrangements where possible.
3. Cancellation
If you need to cancel your session, please provide at least 48 business hours’ notice. Cancellations with less notice, or not attending your appointment, will result in the loss of your $50 attendance deposit. In some situations, a full session fee may also apply.
We encourage clients to reschedule wherever possible. Cancelling a session may result in your preferred time no longer being available in the coming weeks due to other client bookings.
If we ever need to cancel or reschedule your session, we will give you as much notice as possible and offer a new time that works for you.
4. Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change. If you need to reschedule your session, we ask for at least 24 business hours’ notice. When this notice is given, there is no loss of your attendance deposit and no additional fees apply.
If less notice is given, your $50 attendance deposit will be forfeited for the current booking and a new $50 deposit will be required to confirm the rescheduled appointment.
Rescheduling ahead of time helps us keep appointments running smoothly and makes your preferred time more likely to stay available.
5. Discreet Payment Options
We understand that some clients may require discretion regarding how therapy sessions appear on their financial records. Discreet payment options are available by pre-arranged approval only and must be discussed and confirmed prior to your first session.
These arrangements may include the use of a neutral business name on your payment statement or alternative electronic methods. Please note that the setup and processing of discreet payment methods may require additional time to ensure the appropriate option is in place and cannot be guaranteed unless approved in advance.
If discretion is important to you, we encourage you to mention this during your initial enquiry or when placing your initial session deposit. Once approved, the discreet payment method will be used throughout the course of your therapy to help protect your privacy.
6. Confidentiality
All sessions are confidential and personal information is managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share client information without consent, unless legally required.
7. Client Responsibility
By participating in hypnotherapy, you agree to engage in sessions voluntarily and understand that outcomes vary depending on individual circumstances. Our sessions are not intended as a substitute for medical or psychological diagnosis or treatment. You are responsible for seeking appropriate professional advice as needed.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, session materials, videos, and recordings, is the intellectual property of Rethink Clinical Hypnotherapy and may not be copied, reproduced or redistributed without written permission.
9. Website Use
You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose or to transmit any content that is offensive, abusive, defamatory or infringes on the rights of others. We reserve the right to restrict access to our website or services if we believe these terms have been violated.
10. Limitation of Liability
We make every effort to provide a high-quality and professional service, but we do not guarantee specific outcomes. Rethink Clinical Hypnotherapy is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of our services or website.
